Crazy Rabbit Sketches

crazy rabbits.  I wouldn't touch a rabbit like that with a 10 foot pole and a carrot at the end.

Rabbits Rabbits Everywhere

Here's some of the storyboard panels for my newest cartoon. Done straight into flash. I still love drawing on paper the best. but everything has its own advantages. also, I keep running out of the stickies at the size I like using. and Scanning sucks in general.

New Watercolor Test Drive

Finally got to take my watercolors for a test drive....
a real shitty test drive.

Dallas T. Washington on vacation. Enjoying some sweet sweet rum on the rocks.

rabbits keepin it real stupid.

Naked chicks.

i'm pretty disappointed with my first pass at this stuff. But I already notice some improvements. It'll just take time to manage th medium and get back on the cartoony drawing track.

MORE IDIOTS! bird and elephant.

I spent more time with Illustrator CS3. I'm getting the hang of the gradients now. not incredibly fast at it, but i have it down to an effective pace and fairly accurate. I'm convinced that my methods are not industry time tested standards. As I'm off the pen tool and now exclusively messing with the brush tool with a pressure sensitive Wacom tablet. I have pretty good coordination with a tablet, so it seems to work out pretty effectively for me, and allows me the intuitive thick-think variation without too much tweaking.

anywho, look at these IDIOTS!

Idiot Gator Struggles in Illustrator

Here's a drawin' of Idiot! The brilliant scientist gator of Guadalajara.
I've been teaching myself illustrator...and with a touch of help from Ryan Kramer.
Here's a little sketch I fooled around with...and didn't get caught!

the program is a real bitch. can't wrap my mind around some of its work flow and tools. AND gradients....don't get me started on gradients!
I hear CS3 is pretty nice overall though. but discussing the beauty and functionality of the CS3 suite is for another day.
Well, enjoy this idiot and have a great one.

with love,
