I took the Moleskin sketchbook out for a quick test run. At first, I was dissatisfied with the fact that I can't lay down washes very well on its paper. But I grew to like it very quickly. Good smooth drawing surface, graphite doesn't really smudge when you close the book (but we'll see over time), and it's really easy to scan, it lays very flat. All in all, pretty good. But until I bring in tons of cheese, I will keep other books on deck for the larger size, cheaper price, and ability to put down washes.

Quite useful material, much thanks for this article.
It cannot truly have success, I believe so.
